Astronergy’s ASTRO N7 66-cell double-glass bifacial module has been awarded the highest “Very Good” rating in PV Magazine’s rigorous industry evaluation, a collaborative test program with Clean Energy Associates (CEA) and Intertek Laboratories. The module demonstrated exceptional low-irradiance performance, positioning it as a benchmark for energy yield optimization in variable lighting conditions.

The Very Good rating derives from PV Magazine’s benchmark testing program covering 8 critical parameters, including EL imaging, PID resistance, and temperature coefficients, which could test PV modules’ performances in various application scenarios.

Astronergy’s ASTRO N series has demonstrated industry-leading performance in the rigorous evaluation, achieving a 1.51% front-side low-irradiance efficiency loss – 23% lower than the average of tested bifacial TOPCon modules. This breakthrough underscores its superior energy yield during suboptimal conditions (cloudy/rainy weather, dawn/dusk), directly translating to 5-7% higher annual power generation for solar projects.

As Astronergy’s flagship product, the ASTRO N7 66-cell module power exceeds 630W, with a module efficiency of 23.3%.  Meanwhile, this product has become the first choice of global customers and is widely used in industrial, commercial, and utility-scale power plant projects due to its outstanding advantages, such as lower whole-life degradation, better low-irradiance performance, higher bifaciality, better temperature coefficient, and lower BOS cost and LCOE.
