Iberdrola has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Pam Panorama, a renowned Italian hypermarket and supermarket chain, for a total of 1,000 GWh of energy.

Under this agreement, Pam Panorama will source energy from photovoltaic systems to power its Pam, Panorama, Pam Local, and Pam City locations across Italy.

This collaboration enhances the company’s competitiveness and accelerates its electrification efforts, while also reducing annual CO2 emissions by more than 38,300 tonnesโ€”equivalent to the energy consumption of 40,300 households.

By 2025, Iberdrola is set to have approximately 400 MW of installed capacity in Italy, driven by the upcoming launch of its third operational plant and the completion of four additional solar projects.

For the second consecutive year, Iberdrola has been recognized as the leader in the European PPA market, according to the Pexapark Renewables Market Outlook 2025 report, with 1,251 MW contractedโ€”38% more than in 2023.

Iberdrola Espaรฑa has also secured 15 new deals across Europe, partnering with major companies such as Amazon. These agreements include wind and solar PPAs for the East Anglia Three offshore wind farm in Spain, Portugal, and the UK, as well as partnerships with Italian firms like BTicino, Acciaierie Venete, Prima Sole Components, and Bayer, totaling around 50 MW.
