The China General Certification Center (CGC) has released its latest analysis report from the Sanmen test base, covering February to April 2025. As China’s largest mudflat PV test facility, the site compared LONGi’s Hi-MO 9 BC modules with mainstream TOPCon modules under real-world marine solar conditions. Results confirmed LONGi’s comprehensive leadership in two key performance areas: effective utilization hours (power generation) and operating temperature.

Located in Sanmen County, Zhejiang Province, the test base replicates coastal application environments with high humidity, salt mist, muddy foundations, and tidal effects. These conditions provide valuable insights into module reliability, weather resistance, and performance. For the first time, CGC’s mudflat testing verified the performance differences between BC and TOPCon technologies in harsh marine conditions.

The findings show that LONGi’s HPBC 2.0 technology, as applied in Hi-MO 9 modules, delivered a 1.93% power generation gain per kilowatt and an average operating temperature 1.26°C lower than TOPCon modules.

These results highlight the adaptability and performance advantages of LONGi’s BC technology in challenging coastal and mudflat environments. By delivering superior energy yield and long-term reliability, BC products such as Hi-MO 9 provide enhanced commercial value for global PV projects operating under complex environmental conditions.
