IAN Partners with DMEGC Solar to Bring High-Efficiency Panels to GCC Markets

IAN, the renewable energy arm of UAE-based AG Holding, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with Chinaโ€™s DMEGC Solar , marking the companyโ€™s first official entry into the GCC market. The partnership aims to tap the GCCโ€™s Dh24 billion (USD 6.53 billion) Solar PV market.

Under the agreement, IAN will serve as the exclusive distributor of DMEGC Solarโ€™s high-efficiency panels across the UAE and other Gulf countries, operating from its Dubai hub. The collaboration strengthens IANโ€™s renewable energy trading portfolio, which already includes several global solar brands.

DMEGC Solar is a leading global manufacturer of high-efficiency solar panels, recognized as a Bloomberg Tier 1 PV module manufacturer and ranked among PVTECHโ€™s Top 10 module suppliers. The company provides residential, commercial, and utility-scale photovoltaic solutions worldwide.

Market Outlook
The UAE continues to invest heavily in solar energy as part of its National Energy Strategy 2030, with a Dh198 billion (USD 54 billion) budget. Notable initiatives include the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, targeting 5,000 MW by 2030 with Dh50 billion (USD 13.6 billion) in investment, and Masdarโ€™s 5 GW solar-battery projects worth Dh22 billion (USD 6 billion).

The agreement positions both companies to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and sustainable technologies across the Gulf region.
