Technique Solaire has announced the commissioning of a 2.8 MWp solar power plant in Haryana, India, marking the first phase of its larger 16.8 MWp solar project in the state. The plant was officially commissioned on March 6, 2026, following its inauguration earlier in the week.
The project has been developed under the Government of Indiaโs PM KUSUM scheme, which aims to promote decentralised renewable energy generation and improve clean energy access in rural areas.
Once the entire 16.8 MWp project becomes operational, it is expected to generate approximately 26.4 million kWh of electricity annually. The generated power will support energy needs for homes, farms, and businesses while contributing to carbon emission reduction.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Manu Bishnoi, Managing Partner of Technique Solaire India, Vincent Balรจs, International Director, and Edouard Dazard, Investment Director.
Technique Solaire stated that the project further strengthens its presence in the Indian renewable energy market. The company currently has around 210 MWp of solar capacity already operational in India, highlighting the countryโs strategic importance in its global expansion plans.
