Enviro Infra Engineers Limited (EIEL) has reported a strong expansion in its business operations, with a significant increase in its order book as of April 16, 2026. The company announced that it has added more than ₹2,240 crore worth of new orders since March 2026. This growth has pushed its total order book beyond ₹4,600 crore, providing the company with clear revenue visibility for the next 15 to 24 months.

A key highlight of this expansion is EIEL’s entry into the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) segment. The company has secured four BESS projects from NTPC with a combined capacity of 930 MWh. These projects are valued at around ₹1,070 crore and will be implemented across multiple states, including Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, and Telangana. This marks an important step in the company’s strategy to diversify into the renewable energy sector and strengthen its presence in emerging energy solutions.

At the same time, EIEL continues to perform strongly in its core water and wastewater treatment business. The company recently won a project worth ₹411 crore from the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in Aurangabad. In addition, it secured two major projects valued at approximately ₹972 crore in Pune and Nashik, Maharashtra, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0. Together, the water and wastewater segment contributes over ₹2,500 crore to the company’s total order book, while operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts account for more than ₹1,100 crore.

Chairman Sanjay Jain stated that the consistent inflow of orders reflects the company’s strong execution capabilities and focus on high-growth infrastructure sectors. He highlighted that while the core water business continues to provide stability, the company’s entry into BESS represents a forward-looking strategy to tap into the growing renewable energy market.

Looking ahead, EIEL expects to achieve a revenue of around ₹2,000 crore in the financial year 2027. The company’s growth is also supported by favorable government initiatives such as Namami Gange and the Swachh Bharat Mission, which are driving investments in environmental infrastructure.
