GCL System Integration (GCL SI) and Getz Energy Company Limited have entered into a major partnership to strengthen Thailand’s renewable energy sector. Both companies recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the supply of up to 1 gigawatt (GW) equivalent of advanced photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems over the next three years. The collaboration is expected to support the country’s growing clean energy ambitions and accelerate the deployment of large-scale solar projects across Thailand.

Getz Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited, commonly known as GPSC, which serves as the flagship power and energy company of the PTT Group. The agreement was officially signed during the “Getz Energy Open House: Welcome to the Smart Energy Revolution” event, where both companies highlighted their long-term commitment toward sustainable energy development.

Under the partnership, the supply of solar modules and battery storage systems will be carried out in phases. The delivery schedule has been planned according to future construction activities and grid connection timelines to ensure smooth execution of upcoming utility-scale and hybrid solar projects. The initiative is expected to support GPSC’s long-term renewable energy strategy while also helping Getz Energy strengthen its position in Thailand’s domestic clean energy market.

During the event, GCL SI introduced several of its latest solar technologies, including the SiRo T Series and SiRo B Series modules. The SiRo T Series uses advanced TOPCon 2.0 technology combined with bifacial power generation. These modules are designed for utility-scale projects, industrial rooftops, and high-temperature operating conditions. The company stated that the technology offers improved durability along with long-term cost efficiency.

Meanwhile, the SiRo B Series features advanced GPC technology along with high-purity FBR granular silicon and ultra-low reflectivity films. According to GCL SI, these modules provide high conversion efficiency and an improved appearance, making them suitable for premium distributed solar applications.

The MoU is considered an important milestone for GCL SI as it strengthens the company’s presence in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian renewable energy market. The region is witnessing strong growth in renewable energy investments due to rising electricity demand, grid modernization efforts, and national decarbonization targets. Through this collaboration, GPSC and Getz Energy aim to expand their low-carbon energy portfolio and position solar energy as a key part of their long-term sustainability goals.
