Under the agreement, Inox Wind will provide its 3.3-MW and 4X-MW wind turbine generators to support Inox Clean’s expanding renewable energy portfolio. The projects form part of Inox Clean’s plans to significantly scale its renewable energy capacity in the coming years.

The MoU aligns with the INOXGFL Group’s recently launched “One Integrated” renewable energy strategy, which seeks to establish a fully integrated renewable energy ecosystem spanning manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), independent power production (IPP), and operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

According to the company, the strategy brings together the capabilities of Inox Clean Energy, Inox Renewable Solutions, Inox Green Energy Services, and Inox Wind to strengthen project execution, enhance recurring revenue streams, and support long-term growth across the Group’s renewable energy businesses.

Inox Clean has rapidly expanded its renewable energy platform, reaching an operational portfolio of approximately 3.5 GW within its first two years of operations. The company plans to add more than 3 GW of renewable energy capacity annually and is targeting an operational portfolio of 14 GW by FY29.

The company expects wind energy to account for around 20% to 30% of its annual capacity additions, creating long-term demand for wind turbine supplies and providing recurring order visibility for Inox Wind.

Commenting on the development, Sanjeev Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Wind, said the agreement strengthens the company’s growth outlook while supporting the Group’s broader clean energy ambitions. He noted that Inox Wind currently has an order book of 3.1 GW and that the addition of the 1,500-MW MoU increases its order pipeline to more than 4.5 GW.

Bharat Saxena, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Clean Energy, said the partnership represents an important step in implementing the Group’s integrated renewable energy strategy. He added that access to in-house wind manufacturing, execution, and operations capabilities would help accelerate project delivery, improve supply chain reliability, and enhance capital efficiency as the company expands its renewable energy portfolio.

The agreement underscores growing investment in integrated renewable energy platforms in India, where developers are increasingly seeking greater control over manufacturing, project execution, and asset management to support large-scale clean energy deployment and accelerate the country’s energy transition.
