During the first year of operations, the company manufactured more than 260 utility-scale BESS containers, representing over 1.25 GWh of integrated battery energy storage capacity. According to the company, this marks one of the largest utility-scale cell-to-BESS manufacturing achievements by an Indian company within a year.

The Bidadi manufacturing facility integrates engineering, battery system assembly, container fabrication, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) capabilities under a single operating model. Pace Digitek said the integrated setup has enabled it to improve operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, and strengthen execution capabilities.

The company added that its experience in supporting multiple utility-scale BESS deployments over the past year has enhanced its end-to-end capabilities across engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and lifecycle services, positioning it for future growth in India’s expanding energy storage sector.

As India continues to accelerate renewable energy deployment and strengthen grid-scale storage infrastructure, battery energy storage systems are expected to play a key role in improving grid reliability, enabling renewable energy integration, and supporting the country’s clean energy transition. Pace Digitek said it remains focused on expanding its manufacturing capacity, advancing technology, and delivering energy storage solutions to meet the evolving needs of the power sector.
