RenewSys has appointed Rajesh Singh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Encapsulants and Backsheets business, effective July 1, 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership team to support the growing demand for advanced photovoltaic (PV) materials.
Singh takes over the role after serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where he led product innovation, technology development, and manufacturing excellence across the company’s encapsulants and backsheets portfolio. With more than two decades of experience in the photovoltaic industry, he has played a key role in advancing RenewSys’ technology capabilities and operational performance.
Commenting on the appointment, Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of RenewSys India, said Singh’s strategic vision, industry expertise, and customer-focused approach would help drive the next phase of growth for the encapsulants and backsheets business. He added that the company aims to further strengthen its global presence while continuing to deliver innovative photovoltaic material solutions.
Speaking on his new role, Singh said he looks forward to working with customers, partners, and employees to accelerate business growth and deliver advanced photovoltaic materials that support the global clean energy transition.
The leadership transition comes as the global solar industry witnesses increasing demand for high-performance encapsulants and backsheets that improve the efficiency, durability, and reliability of next-generation solar modules. RenewSys said it will continue to focus on innovation and technology development to strengthen its position in the photovoltaic materials market.
