KPI Green Energy Receives CEIG Approval for 100 MW Solar Project Executed for MAHAGENCO in Maharashtra

KPI Green Energy Limited has received charging permission from the Chief Electrical Inspector to the Government (CEIG), Nagpur, for its 100 MW (AC) / 128 MW (DC) grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project executed for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO).

The project, located at Ramthi in Narkhed, Nagpur district, Maharashtra, was developed by KPI Green Energy on a turnkey EPC basis. The charging permission marks the project’s readiness for grid energization and commercial operations, subject to applicable procedures.

According to the company, the project marks its entry into Maharashtra and adds a state utility-scale solar project to its operational portfolio. KPI Green Energy stated that the development highlights its execution capabilities in delivering large-scale, grid-connected solar projects for public sector utilities.
