The scope of work includes the complete supply of a 220/33-33 kV, 168/210 MVA power transformer. In addition to manufacturing and factory testing, the selected bidder will be responsible for packing, forwarding, transportation, freight, insurance, and safe delivery of the transformer up to the project site, including unloading. The contract is being issued as a supply package, with the successful bidder expected to deliver equipment that meets the required technical and quality standards.

The project is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and has a planned storage capacity of 187.5 MW / 750 MWh. Power transformers play a critical role in large-scale energy storage facilities by enabling efficient voltage transformation and ensuring reliable power transfer between the battery system and the transmission or distribution network.

According to the tender schedule, interested bidders must submit their proposals by August 17, 2026. Following the bid submission process, an e-reverse auction is scheduled to take place on August 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The auction process is expected to enhance competitive pricing and help the project owner secure the most cost-effective offer while maintaining technical compliance.
