Refex Green Power Limited (RGPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited, has secured an 80 MW wind power project from SJVN Limited in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The development was disclosed by Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited to the BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations on September 5, 2026.
Under the award, RGPL will undertake the development of the 80 MW wind power project as a Wind Power Developer (WPD). The project has been awarded at a discovered tariff of ₹3.88 per kWh.
The project will be backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited, a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Power supply is scheduled to commence within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.
Unlike a fixed-value engineering or construction contract, the commercial value of the project will accrue over the 25-year PPA period based on the actual electricity generated and supplied at the agreed tariff of ₹3.88 per kWh.
The company said the contract is domestic in nature and does not constitute a related-party transaction. Neither the promoters of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure nor its group companies have any interest in SJVN Limited.
The award strengthens Refex Green Power’s presence in India’s wind energy sector and adds to its renewable energy development portfolio, as the company continues to expand its clean energy projects across the country.
