Suzlon Secures 200 MW Wind Order From Ayana Renewable Power

Suzlon Energy Limited has secured a 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited, marking Ayana’s entry into wind power generation in Madhya Pradesh. The order also takes cumulative sales of Suzlon’s flagship S144 3.x MW platform wind turbine generators (WTGs) beyond the 10 GW milestone.

Under the order, Suzlon will supply 64 units of its S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The project will be developed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh, with the power generated to be connected to the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPCL) state grid.

Suzlon will provide an integrated scope covering the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project. This includes turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant (BoP), pooling substation (PSS), extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission line, project commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

The project represents Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind order spanning Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the company’s growing presence in India’s wind energy market.

Commenting on the order, Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder, Suzlon Group, said the partnership with Ayana comes as the renewable energy company expands into Madhya Pradesh. He noted that the state has more than 55 GW of wind energy potential at a 150-metre hub height, underlining its significance for future wind development.

Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group, said the order reflects the strength of Suzlon’s integrated, end-to-end capabilities. He added that the company has secured four wind orders across two states within a short period.

The latest order further strengthens Suzlon’s position in India’s wind energy sector, while the S144 platform’s cumulative sales crossing 10 GW marks a significant milestone for the company’s turbine portfolio.

Suzlon Group reported revenue of more than USD 1.75 billion in FY26 and has installed over 22 GW of wind energy capacity across 17 countries. The company is headquartered at Suzlon One Earth in Pune, India.
