The portfolio includes utility-scale solar, solar-plus-battery storage and wind projects spread across 10 projects in seven states and six major U.S. power markets.

Invenergy will retain control and majority ownership of the projects and continue to oversee their day-to-day operations. The partnership is expected to support Invenergy’s continued growth while providing capital for large-scale, contracted clean energy and storage assets.

More than 850 MW of the portfolio is currently operational, while the remaining projects are expected to reach commercial operation by the first quarter of 2027. HASI will provide funding for each project as it reaches commercial operation.

All 10 projects are backed by long-term agreements with investment-grade offtakers, including corporate, utility and public-sector entities.

The portfolio spans Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio and New York, reflecting the companies’ focus on expanding clean energy infrastructure across major U.S. power markets.

Meghan Schultz, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Invenergy, said the partnership with HASI would enable the company to recycle capital and support its long-term growth while continuing to deploy power infrastructure for customers and communities.

HASI Chief Client Officer Susan Nickey said the portfolio reflects the scale and breadth of Invenergy’s development and operating platform and highlighted the partnership’s role in supporting energy infrastructure across the United States.

CIBC Capital Markets acted as financial advisor to Invenergy. Sidley Austin LLP served as legal counsel to Invenergy, while Baker McKenzie advised HASI on the transaction.
