NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids for Forecasting and Scheduling Qualified Coordinating Agency (QCA) services for two solar power projects with a combined capacity of 850 MW. The tender covers the 550 MW Shimbhu Ki Burj-1 and 2 solar station and the 300 MW Nokhra solar station.
The bidding document has been issued under reference number NGEL-CS-200156843. The work involves providing forecasting and scheduling services for the two solar stations. The contract period is specified as 730 days, while the bid validity period is 120 days. The project locations are listed as SKB 1 and 2 and Nokhra, with the tender location carrying pincode 334303. The bid opening will take place at Greater Noida.
According to the tender details, the notice was published on September 28, 2026, at 12:30 PM. Bidders can download the tender documents from the NTPC e-procurement portal from the same time. The document download facility will remain available until October 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
The clarification period began on September 28 at 12:35 PM, while the deadline for submitting queries is September 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM. NGEL has stated that queries received after the specified deadline will not be entertained.
Online bid submission started on September 28 at 12:40 PM and will close on October 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The bids are scheduled to be opened on October 1 at 3:00 PM. The tender documents and any subsequent corrigendum or updates will be made available through the NTPC e-procurement portal.
The tender specifies that there will be no tender fee, bid security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), Integrity Pact, pre-bid conference, or reverse auction for the procurement. Bids are required to be submitted online, with digital bid opening conducted in the presence of participating representatives.
NGEL has clarified that downloading or purchasing the bidding documents does not establish a bidder’s qualification or eligibility. Bidders are required to meet the conditions specified in the tender documents. The transfer of bidding documents between parties is also prohibited.
NTPC has further retained the right to reject, cancel, or withdraw the Invitation for Bids at any stage without assigning a reason. Interested bidders have been advised to refer to the official e-procurement portal for complete tender documents, eligibility requirements, timelines, and any subsequent amendments.
