LONGi, one of the world’s leading PV manufacturers, and KENO, one of the largest distributors based in Gliwice, Poland, have recently signed an agreement that ensures supplying 300 MW throughout the year. This is the next step in developing long-term relationships and increasing cooperation between manufacturer and distributor.

The cooperation between LONGi Solar and KENO started at the beginning of the year 2019. Thanks to the enormous commitment and active cooperation of both companies, LONGi PV modules are currently increasing their position in the Polish PV market. Thus, it should be noted that according to The Institute for Renewable Energy, KENO achieved first place among the companies surveyed for the total modules marketed, achieving more than half of the market share.

Everything indicates that, at the beginning of 2021, the Government of Poland will re-launch a program of subsidiaries for photovoltaic systems under the name “My Electricity” and other funds to support the development of PV. LONGi and KENO have realized that the result of these actions will be an increase in consumer demand for high-quality modules, which is why it will be very important to ensure the high stock in warehouses in 2021.

Tadeusz Ogarek , Director of R&D at KENO, commented:  “Thanks to ongoing cooperation and market potential, which is getting bigger and bigger every year, we are confident that we will deploy the highest quality modules LONGi in the domestic market, increasing the share of renewable energy in Poland “.

Dennis She, Senior Vice President of LONGi Solar, commented:  “LONGi always seeks to provide our customers with the highest quality and most competitive solar products, with the goal of fulfilling our commitment to deploy clean and sustainable energy (our solar energy) throughout the world. We believe that the strategic collaboration with KENO will strengthen LONGi’s presence in markets around the world, offering more opportunities for acceleration towards the energy transition. “
