BCCL Issues Tender For 1200 KW Rooftop Solar In Dhanbad

Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) has issued a tender for 1200 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar projects at its 19 different locations in Dhanbad. The estimated cost of the tendered projects is Rs 4.46 crore.

The selected bidders will have to take care of  the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, storage, civil works, erection, testing, commissioning, ensuring net metering as per the concerned state policies for the rooftop projects. The work on the commissioning of the projects must be completed in a period of 120 days. The developers will also be needed to provide comprehensive  O&M services for the plants for a period of 5 years.

24th May 2021 is the final date for bid submission and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 25, 2021. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated to the technically cleared bidders later. 

As far as eligibility is concerned, the bidders must have experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 7 years which may include any of the following:

• Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40 percent of the estimated cost put to tender. Or
• Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50 percent of the estimated cost put to tender. Or 
• One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80 percent of the estimated cost put to tender.

With respect to the average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years ending March 31, 2021, of the previous financial year should be at least 30 percent of the estimated cost.
