SunCon To Construct 100 MW Solar Project In Malaysia

Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) will construct two solar projects of 50 MW capacity in Malaysia. The company has accepted Letters of Intent (LoI) for the same.

The company will work on design, procurement, engineering, building, testing, and commissioning the project. The agreement will contribute to the earnings of SunCon in 2022.

The first LoI was issued by GBS Suria Sdn Bhd with the sum of MYR 200 million (USD 47.6m/EUR 42.1m) and the second LoI was issued by Sharp Ventures Solar Sdn Bhd for the sum of MYR 185 million.

Both the solar PV projects will be completed and start operation by 2023 end according to Energy Commission.
