GoodWe Accomplishes Gigantic Landmark of 1.5 GW Shipments to India

Celebrates with Industry Leaders at An Exclusive & Spectacular Grand Event!

GoodWe, a world-leading PV inverter, and energy storage systems manufacturer has achieved a gigantic milestone of 1.5 GW shipments to India this year. 

If we review the last 5 years since GoodWe entered India, the country has been one of the most important markets to GoodWe. GoodWe has finished a plethora of ambitious projects like Rajikok-15MW, Cochin Airport-10MW, MRPL-6MW, Bosch-4MW, Simens-2MW, etc. GoodWe products have been taken by famous companies like TATA Power, Sterling & Wilson, Fourth Partner, Renew, Amplus, Adani etc.

Meanwhile, GoodWe has built up a balanced team structure emphasizing not just on getting orders but hiring more than 25 people in service across India, on GoodWe payrolls. There are service warehouses, and we maintain spares for a range of models supplied.

To celebrate this milestone, GoodWe hosted a star-studded event with 100+ top leaders of the industry in attendance in New Delhi on 11th March 2022. It was a magnificent gala dinner event full of Celebration, Discovery & Expression!

The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Anil Bhat, Business CEO, Distributed Generation, Amplus Solar who did the honor of lighting the lamp.

GoodWe Staff celebrated the achievement with customers.

On the occasion, Mr. James, Head of Sales for SEA & India was present virtually and welcomed everyone, and thanked customers and partners for their support.“GoodWe’s target is not only Rooftop segment but we also pay equal attention to the utility segment and I am very happy to announce that we have got around 1 GW of utility projects in China and have also commissioned utility projects in India like Seven Solar Energy, etc.”, said James. 

He further added, “GoodWe doesn’t stop at just being an inverter supplier, we are also developing batteries, BIPV (building integrated PV module) & EV car charging solutions. We have got more than 10 million USD orders of batteries in 2021, which was the first year we launched the battery product. GoodWe is aiming to be an integrated solution supplier, to provide more choices to our customers, and be the innovator of smart energy.”

GoodWe unveiled its brand-new logo as well at the gala event. GoodWe has refreshed its brand logo in line with the evolution of the global new energy space, emphasizing collaboration and digitalization.

The event ended on a high note with an awards distribution ceremony and a grand gala dinner. 

During its 5 years of operation in India, GoodWe has achieved not only this milestone but also kept its responsibility for society in mind. It has collaborated with Skill India for Green Jobs to conduct various trainings and workshops on different topics related to PV and Solar Industry to empower & encourage the budding professionals of the Solar Industry. Earlier this month, it conducted a training on the topic ‘Battery Energy Storage Solution’ which got a huge response from students. 

At the Solar PV Power Plant in ISKCON Ujjain temple, GoodWe took a great initiative by donating the 35KW Inverter free of cost to the Temple. The Temple gets 5.5+ kWh units of Solar Electricity every year and annual savings Approx. Rs.4 Lakhs.
