A new rooftop portfolio: Europe under one roof
Trina Solar, a leader in Europe’s market, has developed a portfolio of roof modules that is tailored to the needs of regional customers. The product line is currently being updated to improve performance and keep it in compliance with not only BOS components but also local building regulations.
trina Solar launches its second generation Vertex S universal rooftop module, with a maximum power output of 430W. The Vertex 580W module is for large C&I projects and can be used in conjunction with the Vertex 580W module. New members of the 210mm family (G12) feature new cells that are based on new 210mm rectangular silicon wafers (G12R), which result in higher efficiency and power than similar products. The single-module power can increase by as much as 30W.
The new Vertex+ module completes the rooftop range. This premium solution has a dual-glass design and 210mm n type Vertex cells. It is easy to install and compatible. Vertex S+ includes a 25-year extended product warranty and a 30-year performance guarantee.
Increases in Installation Capacity by up to 77%. More green energy
These modules are 0.2-0.3% more efficient, reaching 21.5%. They also offer outstanding system value. The Vertex S generation is capable of increasing residential roof installation capacity by 5-7 percent. Higher power generation is more suitable for household usage and higher energy demands from electric vehicles.
Because of the higher string power, PV cables and mounting systems are cheaper and take less time to install. Developers can save significant balance of system (BOS), as transportation and storage costs are less expensive. Commercial rooftops can save up to 2% on initial investment. Comparable to the 410W reference modules each shipping container can hold an additional 18.7kW Vertex 430W product. This allows for a load up to 402kW and significantly reduces CO2 emissions.
These products are universally applicable to meet local carbon emission reduction goals. The new products can be used with many mainstream inverters as well as mounting systems. This new product generation can be used on all types of rooftops. Trina Solar’s latest upgrades highlight its leadership in commercial, residential, and industrial rooftop applications around the globe, as well as in Europe.

The entire range of Vertex dual glass bifacial module sizes 550W-670W will be on display. This new standard in reliability and efficiency for utility-scale solar projects, with the lowest LCOE, and highest yield, comes with a 30-year performance guarantee.
