Al Anbar Governorate To Award Solar Energy Contract Of 150 MW Capacity

Al Anbar Governorate to award a contract for building solar energy vegetation of 150 MW capacity in Iraq’s largest province to 2 UAE funding firms.

With the ministry of electrical energy, the province has 5 websites ready to arrange photovoltaic parks said deputy governor Jassim Abdullah.

Once the contracts are signed, the projects will be completed within a year or a year and a half. The land allocation process for the projects is underway.

Recently, the Electrical energy minister of Iraq, Adel Karim said that a 750 MW photovoltaic park will be built in southern Al-Muthanna Governorate
