SECI Floats Tender For Supply Of 1680 MW of Solar Modules


Solar Energy Corporation (SECI) has issued Tender for the Manufacturing, Testing, Packing and Forwarding, Supply and Transportation of 1680 MWp Domestically Manufactured Solar PV Modules with Domestically Manufactured Solar Cells. The last date to submit the bid is 29th July 2022 and the bids will be opened on the same day. SECI has divided the total tender capacity into 4 package of 420 MW each. Bidders can quote for single or two packages ie. 840 MW max.  SECI has right to modify the capacity by 10%+ or –

MEDA Invites EoI To Set Up 10 MW Of Rooftop Solar Systems On Government Buildings

The proposals must be submitted by July 18, 2022. The next day, bids will be opened. Bidders are required to pay a bid processing cost of Rs 11,800, plus 18% GST. Rooftop systems with a capacity of 10 kW to 100 kW and above 100 kW to 500 kW require a security deposit of Rs. 300,000 and Rs. 500,000, respectively, from the winning bidder. The rooftop solar power plants would be built under the RESCO mode and distributed to developers according to the order in which their applications are received.

Cabinet Approves MNRE & IRENA’s Strategic Partnership Agreement On Renewable Energy

The Cabinet, on Wednesday, June 29, approved the Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The aim of the Agreement is to drive ambition, leadership and knowledge on green energy transitions based on renewable energy in India. The Agreement will help India’s energy transition efforts and will also help the world in combating climate change.

HPGCL Invites Bids For 121 MW Solar Power Projects Development

The 121 MW of grid-connected solar power projects that Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) is planning to build are out for bid. The projects would be spread out over three locations: Yamuna Nagar (18 MW), Panipat (25 MW), and Faridabad (78 MW). The last date for bid submission is August 8, 2022, and the opening date for bids is August 10. Participants in the tender would be required to submit Rs 5 million as an earnest money deposit. The winning bidder will be required to provide a security deposit or performance bank guarantee equal to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receiving the letter of intent.

MSEDCL Floats Tender To Procure 1000 MW of Solar Power in Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has issued RfS Document for procurement of 1000 MW (AC) solar power from projects to be developed in Maharashtra through competitive bidding process (Followed By e – Reverse Auction). The final date to submit the bids is 1st August 2022, and the bids will be opened on the same day. The Ceiling Tariff Rs. 3.10 per unit, e- Reverse Auction Will be informed to eligible bidders, Cost of RfS Document (non-refundable) Rs. 15000 + 18% GST to be paid through online payment.

CERC Gives Operational Approval For Country’s Third Power Exchange, Hindustan Power Exchange Limited

In a recent order central electricity regulatory commission (CERC) gives permission to country’s third power exchange, Hindustan Power Exchange Limited (HPXL), for commence its operation. On May 2021, after granting registration to HPXL for establish and operate a power exchange in India, the commission asked for further compliance in terms of getting approval on Bye-laws, Rules and Business Rules and the technology including trading software to start operation in the country. Subsequently, in response to a new petition by HPXL, the commission gave approval to the Bye-laws, Rules and Business rules of HPXL. Further, for approval of the exchange’s proposed transaction platform, HPXL filed a separate petition with audited report of the proposed software’s algorithm.

JREDA Tenders 18 MW Solar Power Project Development At Giridih Solar City

To create an 18 MW grid-connected solar power plant in Giridih Solar City using the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model, the Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has issued a tender inviting Expressions of Interest from developers. The last date for proposal submissions is July 13, 2022. On July 15, the bids will be revealed. With Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam, the developer must establish a power purchase agreement (PPA), with the assistance of JREDA. JREDA will offer all information required for building Solar Park and will make it easier to allocate government property on a lease basis up until the project’s completion.

HPCL Tenders Consultancy For 100-150 MW Hybrid Wind-Solar Project With BESS

A feasibility assessment for the construction of a 100-150 MW wind-solar hybrid project with a battery energy storage system (BESS) on undeveloped land at the Anantpuram Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh has been requested by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL). For this tender, only “Class-I” and “Class-II local suppliers” will be permitted to submit proposals. However, “Class-I local suppliers” will be given preference. The proposals must be submitted by July 13, 2022, which will be opened on the same day. The earnest money deposit required to submit by bidders is Rs 200,000. The winning bidder additionally has to submit a composite performance bank guarantee equal to 3% of the project’s cost.

MPUVNL Tenders For 35 MW of Grid-connected Rooftop Solar System

Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL), invites Bids from the Bidders to participate through this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Discovery of Tariff & Selection of Solar Power Developers for Implementation of 35 MW of Grid Connected Roof Top Solar PV Systems, for Sale of Solar Power under RESCO Model, at various locations in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The Grid connected projects may be allowed under either category- I or category- III, as defined in the Policy for Decentralized Renewable Energy Systems, 2016 (a) Category I: Grid connected net metered systems; (b) Category III: Grid connected systems for consumption within premises with no export of power.
