Skye Renewables Singapore OpCo Pte Ltd (Skye), a solar energy developer in Southeast Asia, announced that it has entered an agreement to build a 587.4 kWp rooftop solar system at the main office and operating facility of Verdeland Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of a regional infrastructure construction company, HSL Constructor Pte Ltd, in Singapore.
The solar system is forecast to generate over 11GWh of power during the contract lifetime, allowing HSL to avoid significant carbon emissions by replacing some of their grid usages.
Skye Founder & CEO, Ross Coull, said, “the Skye team is delighted that HSL would select us to be their renewable energy partner in Singapore. HSL has a long and proud history in Asia and we will be helping them further their ambitious sustainability strategy by deploying solar power on their main site.”
