MAHAGENCO Tenders for 600 MW of Solar Power Projects in Maharashtra

Mahagenco intends to invite offers from interested Bidders /Developers for setting up Solar Power Plant/Plants of cumulative capacity up to 600 MW in various regions of Maharashtra. 100 MW cumulative capacity each shall be allotted in Nagpur, Amravati, Aurangabad, Konkan, Nashik and Pune. Individual solar project capacity shall be 2 MW to 10 MW as per availability of substation connectivity. The last day to submit the bid is 19th October 2022.

SECI Issues RfS Document for 2250 MW Round-the-Clock (RTC) Power From RE Projects

Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) issues Request for Selection (RfS) Document for Selection of RE Power Developers for Supply of 2250 MW of Round-the-Clock (RTC) Power from GridConnected Renewable Energy (RE) Power Projects, complemented with Power from any other source or storage in India under Tariff-based Competitive Bidding (RTC-III). Identification of land, installation and ownership of the Project, along with obtaining connectivity and necessary approvals and interconnection with the ISTS network for supply of power to SECI, will be under the scope of the RPD. Deadline to submit the bid is 10th October 2022 – 6:00 PM IST.

GSECL Issues Tender for 10 MW Solar Power Project at Hadala, Gujarat

GSECL based at Vadodara proposes to implement a 10 MW (AC) project of Crystalline silicon solar photovoltaic grid interactive power station to harness green energy. It is under Government of India (GoI) initiative to promote renewable energy. GSECL proposes to establish 10 MW (AC) capacity (Solar Power System(s) including development of land, buildings, plant, machinery, ancillary equipment, material, switch-gear, transformers, protection equipment and the development, design, construction, operation and maintenance for Five (5) year of the Power Plant at various substations of GETCO in the State of Gujarat. Online Tender/Offer submission last date is 15.09.2022, 16:00 Hrs.

TPDDL Tenders For 255 MW of Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects with Greenshoe Option

The Projects to be selected for aggregate capacity of 255 MW with a greenshoe option of additional 255 MW, provide for deployment of Wind- Solar Hybrid Power Technology. However,the selection of projects would be technology agnostic. The bidders should submit a quote in the ratio of 1:2 (solar: wind). Earnest Money @ Rs. 5 Lakh / MW / Project is to be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee along with the Response to RfS. The bids submission deadline is 31 October and bids will be opened on the next day.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited Invites Proposals for Round-the-clock Renewable Power Supply

The purpose of inviting this EOI isto solicit proposals from interested and experienced RE developers who can supply Renewable Energy (RE) and RE‐RTC (Round‐the‐Clock) power from Solar/Hydro/Wind/Pumped Storage and RE‐BESS (Battery Energy Storage System)/Hybrid power plants on medium term and long‐term basis. The Applicant should have a commercially operational RE Generating plant or RE/RE‐Storage project expected to be commissioned on or before 31.12.2023. Generators who have already obtained investment approval / awarded contract for main package would be eligible. The delivery point would be Generator Ex‐Bus.

India Submits Updated NDC to UNFCCC, Says It’s a Step Towards Net-zero by 2070

India has submitted its updated Nationally Determined Contribution under the Paris Agreement to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, emphasising that it is a step forward towards its long-term goal of reaching net-zero by 2070. According to the updated NDC, India now stands committed to reducing emissions intensity of its GDP by 45 per cent by 2030, from the 2005 level, and achieving about 50 per cent cumulative electric power installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources by 2030. To further a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, ‘LIFE – Lifestyle for Environment’ has been added to India’s NDC as a key to combating climate change.

Konkan Railway Invites Bids For 5 MW Solar Power Project Development

A request for proposals has been published by Konkan Railway Corporation for the construction of a 5 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar installation. The tender is expected to cost a total of Rs. 26.62 crores. The cost of the tender has been fixed for 25 years at Rs. 3.10/kWh. The online proposal must be submitted by September 22, 2022, which will be opened on the same day. An earnest money deposit of Rs. 14.8146/- lakhs will be required from each interested bidder.
