EESL Floats Tender for Procurement of 24 MW Solar Module for Maharashtra

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has floated a tender for Procurement of 24 MWp poly crystalline solar PV module (330 Wp and above) for the State of Maharashtra. However, the quantity quoted in the tender (24 MWp) may increase or decrease as per EESL’s requirement.

Last date for submitting a bid is 17 October, 2022 at 11:00. Bids will open on that day at 11:30.

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 25,000/- as a tender fee amount. Bid Security/EMD amount is Rs. 1.18 Crores

The modules are to be made from 72 polycrystalline silicon solar cells which must have been manufactured in India. The contractor shall Design, Manufacture, Testing and Supply Solar PV Modules at various districts in the State of Maharashtra within a period 3 Months from the date of Award. The Letter of Intent expires 15 days after the LoI is issued. The Project Completion period is 3 Months from the date of issuance of NOA/Awarding of work.

Suppliers must also offer a 5 year and 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects for modules. They must also provide replacements at no cost. The warranty must cover the PV Module’s output peak wattage, which should not be lower than 90 percent after 10 years or 80 percent after 25 years. Non-performance is also covered by free replacements.
