The Lebanese Minister for Labour, His Excellency Mr Mustafa Bayram receives Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global’s founder and chairman, HE Dr Talal Abu-Ghazaleh. The two sides met to discuss the implementation of the previously signed agreement and the digital transformation plan for the Ministry.
Dr Abu-Ghazaleh, who spoke out about the global energy crisis in Lebanon, a country that is currently experiencing a severe financial and economic crisis, stressed the need for clean energy, especially solar energy to address the issue of electricity outages. He also highlighted the need to preserve the environment from the dangers posed by climate change.
Dr Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the importance of speeding up efforts to establish a solar panel manufacturing company in Lebanon. This would allow the country’s energy needs to be met at the lowest possible cost.
Dr Abu-Ghazaleh was accompanied by a delegation consisting of Mr Salah Abu Osbeh (TAG.Global’s Chair of Group Management Board), Mr Marwan Abu-Sahyoun (Executive Director of Lebanon Office) and Mr Burhan Al Ashkar, Representative of HE Dr Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in Lebanon for Culture and Media. This is, in addition, to Dr Rabie Baalbaki (MENA EdTech Alliance President and visit coordinator) and Nora Al-Murabi (Vice-President, Alliance for International Partnerships and Relations Coordinator).
