Arctech, the world’s leading tracking, racking, and BIPV solutions provider announced it would attend the upcoming IGEM (The International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2022) from October 12th to 14th in Kurla Lumpur, Malaysia. 


The International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2022 (IGEM) will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 12 to 14 October 2022. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) and co-organized by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), it continues to be the leading trade event for green technologies and eco solutions.

This year’s theme is Race towards Net Zero: Fulfilling Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Commitments. The event will feature green energy organizations, businesses, and suppliers showcasing their most recent innovations in the green economy landscape. In addition, there will be sharing sessions led by distinguished field experts, business matching sessions, and educational series to increase public awareness of the nation’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2050. The main issues that will be in focus this year are empowering cities, electrifying mobility, decarbonizing energy, and accelerating circularity.

Malaysia’s 2025 target to have 31% of total power capacity from renewable energy sources is expected to be supported by strong solar sector growth. Based on SEDA Malaysia, the total potential of solar PV in Malaysia reaches 269GW, deriving from 210GW for ground-mounted, 42GW for rooftop, and 17GW for FPV. 

Arctech has harvested 116 MW project with SkySmart II in 2021 and 74.98 MW project with its racking solution in 2022 in the country, the company has accumulated a 30.57 GW portfolio in the APAC market and has retained the championship title regarding the regional shipment for five times in a row up until 2021.
