At seven stations in the Mumbai division (Datiwali, Sion, Karjat, Kopar, Vasind, Ambivili, and OHE workshop Kalyan), the Ministry of Railways has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the provision of grid-connected solar power plants. The tender’s announced price is approximately Rs. 7.25 million.
The online proposal must be submitted by January 6, 2023, which will be revealed on the same day.
Earnest money deposits totaling Rs. 145,100 will be required from each interested bidder.
The scope of supply and work includes all design, erection, testing, provision, and commissioning of a grid-connected rooftop solar system with panels, complete with all metering system, accessories, inverter with data logger with the provision of data transferring to remote service along with data storage, cables, mounting structure, wiring charges, SEB charges, GST charges along with other associated work charges.
These solar power projects should be completed within six months.
The bidder must have executed, installed, supplied, tested, and commissioned/AMC/Repaired Solar Panels/Solar Lighting Systems/Solar Water Heaters/Solar Power Packs or Wind or hybrid Power Systems in order to participate in this tender.
Additionally, the reference work should have been done in one of the organizations: a Central or State Government Department or a Central or State Government PSU.
The bidder’s net worth should be positive during the previous financial year.
Furthermore, for the bidder to partake in the bidding process, the minimum annual turnover for the previous 3 financial years should be equal to the amount computed by the formula: 4.0 Cr x Quoted Capacity (in MW) x 0.7
