Hartek Power Successfully Commissions 400kV/125 MVAr Reactor at Dhuri Substation in Punjab

Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power system business unit of Hartek Group and one of India’s Top 10 engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, has successfully completed the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the 400/220 kV substation in Dhuri, Punjab on 30 March 2023, well within the stipulated timeline.

The commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work, was a significant achievement for the company. The scope of work for the project included a turnkey package for the supply and commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work.

The company has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the power sector by successfully commissioning three reactors back to back. The first reactor commissioned was the 220 kV / 25 MVAr Dhuri plant, followed by the commissioning of the second reactor at the 220 kV / 25 MVAr at the Nakodar plant, and finally, the 400 kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the Dhuri plant at PSTCL.
