Nama Water Services’s Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development of a 10-15 MWp Solar PV Plant in Muscat Governorate according to Authority for Public Services Regulations.
In the first stage, an area of more than 65500 square metres has been designated within A’Seeb STP, Al Ansab STP, Ghala Water Tanks, and Al Ghubrah water tanks.
The project is a 10-15 MWp project that aims to supply the operating assets of OWWSC with a greener and cheaper source of electricity. It will also allow in generating of Renewable Energy Scheme (green/clean), as part of Oman Vision 2040, and contribute to reducing the CO2 emission roadmap for achieving Net Zero by 2050.Â
The project is designed to create resilient, effective and balanced ecosystems that will protect the environment as well as ensure the sustainability of natural resources for the nation’s economy. This will also support the reduction of greenhouse gases in accordance with the roadmap for decarbonization.
Companies with relevant experience with the deployment of solar power generation plants can send their Expression of Interest along with proof of experience by email before 3:00 pm on Thursday, 4th May 2023.
