The Honorable Union Minister of Heavy Industries, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, inaugurated the ‘Green BHEL’ initiative during his visit to the Corporate Office of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in New Delhi. Dr. Nalin Shinghal, the Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL, along with other directors and senior officials, warmly welcomed the esteemed minister.
Dr. Pandey commended BHEL’s roadmap to achieve ‘Net Zero’ emissions by 2047, aligning with the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister for India to attain ‘Net Zero’ by 2070. He also examined the company’s various diversification endeavors aimed at enhancing long-term competitiveness, which will contribute to BHEL’s sustainable growth. The minister assured the full support of the Ministry of Heavy Industries in all of BHEL’s endeavors.
