Minetech Resources Subsidiary Receives Green Light For 60-Acre Solar Power Plant In Malaysia

Minetech Resources Bhd’s subsidiary, Coral Power Sdn Bhd (CPSB), has received the Commissioning Test Certificate (CTC) from the Energy Commission for a large-scale solar (LSS) power plant spanning 60 acres.

In accordance with the power purchase agreement and the communication from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), CPSB’s power plant has been officially authorized for commercial operation, commencing from May 29, 2023.

“Our engagement in renewable energy (RE) extends beyond a business decision; it symbolizes our commitment to sustainable growth. Through the production of 9.99MW of clean energy, we are actively contributing to environmental well-being and ensuring a steady revenue stream for our company over 21 years,” the statement from the civil engineering specialist and bituminous products manufacturer noted.
