KPI Green Secures 9.7 MW Solar Power Projects as Captive Power Producer

KPI Green Energy Limited is pleased to announce the acquisition of new orders for solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 9.70 MW. These projects are being executed under the ‘Captive Power Producer (CPP)’ model. Notably, 4.70 MW of the capacity will be undertaken directly by KPI Green Energy Limited, while the remaining 5 MW will be managed by M/s. Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

The orders have been awarded by the following entities: Vibrant Processors Pvt. Ltd. – 1.20 MW, Vismita Intermediates Pvt. Ltd. – 1 MW, Tulsi Waves Pvt. Ltd. – 5 MW, JPB Fibers – 1.50 MW, Vasant Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. – 1 MW.

The projects are set to be completed in a phased manner throughout the financial year 2023-24, following the terms specified in the respective orders.

This expansion into the solar power sector marks another significant step for KPI Green Energy Limited in its commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The acquisition of these projects demonstrates the company’s dedication to playing an active role in India’s transition towards cleaner and more environmentally friendly power generation.
