MAHAPREIT Invites Bids for 100 MW Distributed Agriculture Feeder Solar PV Power Plant in Maharashtra

The Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT), based in Mumbai, India, has announced an open tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of a 100 MW (AC) grid-connected Distributed Agriculture Feeder Solar PV power plant. This ambitious project is slated for various locations across the state of Maharashtra.

Under the tender, the bidding process will be a single-stage two-envelope approach. The first envelope, known as the Techno-Commercial Bid, will encompass the technical and commercial aspects of the proposal, while the second envelope, the Price Bid, will focus on the financial details.

To ensure high-quality standards, the solar modules to be utilized for the project must be sourced exclusively from manufacturers listed in the latest “Approved List of Models and Manufactures (ALMM)” issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

The project will span different locations, featuring individual capacities ranging from 2 MW to 10 MW. The cumulative capacity of the project will reach 100 MW (AC).

A noteworthy requirement of the bidding process is the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 4.5 Lakh/MW on the total 100 MW (AC) capacity, resulting in a total EMD of INR 4.50 Crore.

Interested parties are urged to submit their bids by the 26th of September 2023, no later than 15:00 hrs. The Techno-Commercial Bid will be opened on the same day at 16:00 hrs.

This substantial initiative aligns with MAHAPREIT’s commitment to renewable energy expansion and sustainable infrastructure development in the state of Maharashtra.
