The Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT), based in Mumbai, India, has announced an open tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of a 100 MW (AC) grid-connected Distributed Agriculture Feeder Solar PV power plant. This ambitious project is slated for various locations across the state of Maharashtra.

Under the tender, the bidding process will be a single-stage two-envelope approach. The first envelope, known as the Techno-Commercial Bid, will encompass the technical and commercial aspects of the proposal, while the second envelope, the Price Bid, will focus on the financial details.

To ensure high-quality standards, the solar modules to be utilized for the project must be sourced exclusively from manufacturers listed in the latest “Approved List of Models and Manufactures (ALMM)” issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

The project will span different locations, featuring individual capacities ranging from 2 MW to 10 MW. The cumulative capacity of the project will reach 100 MW (AC).
