India’s Adani Global And Singapore’s Kowa Holdings Unite For Green Hydrogen Venture

In a significant strategic move towards bolstering its presence in the green energy sector, Adani Global Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Kowa Holdings Asia Pte. Ltd. This landmark agreement, officially signed is set to usher in a new era of collaboration and innovation in the renewable energy space.

The agreement involves two prominent entities, Adani Global Pte. Ltd. (AGPTE) and Kowa Holdings Asia Pte. Ltd. (KOWA). AGPTE, a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, is the driving force behind this strategic alliance.

At its core, the Joint Venture Agreement outlines the framework for establishing a Joint Venture Company based in Singapore. This newly formed entity will play a pivotal role in the sales and marketing of green ammonia, green hydrogen, and related derivatives. These products are to be sourced from the Adani Group’s environmentally sustainable production processes and will be made available within the agreed-upon territory.

The Joint Venture Company is structured with a balanced 50%:50% equity ownership arrangement, ensuring equal participation and shared responsibilities between AGPTE and KOWA.

AGPTE, being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, signifies the deep commitment of the Adani Group to advance its green energy initiatives. This endeavor is aligned with Adani’s broader mission to champion sustainable practices and eco-friendly solutions.
