Cyprus’ Nicosia General Hospital Initiates Construction Of 1.3 MW Solar Farm

Construction has commenced on a new solar farm located at Nicosia General Hospital in Cyprus, with the first phase of the project expected to finish in January. The entire solar farm project is scheduled for completion by March 23.

During the construction, a portion of the hospital’s parking lot will be closed until January 7, while the remaining section will be inaccessible from January 8 to March 23.

As part of the project, solar panels and parking space covers will be installed. The solar farm will have a total capacity of 1.3 megawatt peak, and the project’s cost is estimated at €1.8 million.

State health services (Okypy) have requested the public’s understanding during this construction period.
