Teladan Unveils Melaka’s First Solar-Powered Homes in Taman Bertam Heights Phase 2A

Teladan Group Berhad, a prominent Melaka-based property developer, unveiled a groundbreaking project as they conducted an exclusive two-day preview event for Taman Bertam Heights (TBH) Phase 2A, a gated and guarded housing development situated in Melaka. This development marks a significant milestone for the Group, as it introduces the state’s very first solar-powered homes. The exclusive preview of TBH Phase 2A, held today, showcased a total of 352 residential units, including two-story terraces and semi-D houses. The estimated gross development value (GDV) for this project is RM242.0 million, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

TBH Phase 2A is an integral part of the 166.3-acre TBH township master plan, which follows a gated and guarded neighbourhood concept designed to create a safer and more serene living environment by limiting traffic. The township was initially introduced in February 2022 with the launch of TBH Phase 1B, which achieved an impressive take-up rate of 98.9%. Building on this success, TBH Phase 1A was introduced in the last quarter, while the forthcoming phase, TBH Phase 2B, with an estimated GDV of RM268.0 million, is set to launch in FY2024.

These meticulously planned amenities are intended to enhance the well-being of residents of all ages. Additionally, Teladan has collaborated with Maxis Berhad to provide fibre optic infrastructure, ensuring high-speed broadband connectivity for residents.

TBH Phase 2A boasts excellent accessibility through major highways and trunk roads, positioning it as an ideal choice for modern living in Melaka. During the exclusive preview event, Teladan partnered with Mercedes-Benz to offer electric vehicle (EV) test drives, highlighting the Group’s dedication to promoting cleaner and greener transportation alternatives.

Mr. Richard Teo Lay Ban, Managing Director of Teladan, expressed, “With the introduction of TBH Phase 2A, we reaffirm the Group’s commitment to building a sustainable living environment that prioritises the well-being of our homebuyers. This project marks a significant stride towards a greener, safer, and more connected living experience in Melaka.
