In a significant move towards advancing clean energy solutions, India’s largest integrated power utility, NTPC Ltd., has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Engineers India Limited (EIL). This strategic collaboration allows NTPC’s Research and Development center, NETRA, to embark on cooperative projects within various domains including Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS), Green Fuel, Green Chemicals such as Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia, Green Fertilizers, Bio-Fuels, Decarbonization, Waste Handling, Water, Ash management, and more. These endeavors collectively contribute to the nation’s clean energy transition.
The MoA was formally inked by Shri U K Bhattacharya, Director (Projects) of NTPC Ltd., and Shri Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial) of EIL. This momentous event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Jaikumar Srinivasan, Director (Finance) of NTPC, Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Director (Technical) of EIL, and other senior officials from both NTPC and EIL.
