During discussions with Lebanese officials in Doha, the focus was on the challenges posed by high energy costs, a major factor contributing to a 50% increase in the prices of goods and services.

The Qatari minister proposed the construction of the energy plants as a solution to alleviate economic challenges, with the condition that Lebanon provides suitable lands for the project.

The three plants are expected to have a combined production capacity of approximately 500 megawatts, addressing a significant portion of Lebanon’s current energy demand.
