B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited and Siam City Cement Public Company Limited have formalized a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the goal of procuring alternative energy sources to promote environmentally friendly business practices. The collaborative effort is centered around the development of rooftop and ground-mounted solar energy projects on the premises of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited in Saraburi Province. This initiative, with a total production capacity of 102-megawatt peak, is set to be implemented in two phases over a span of 5 years.
Dr. Harald Link, President of B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, introduced the joint venture, emphasizing the focus on solar energy projects across rooftops and ground sites. This strategic partnership aims to provide tailored electrical energy solutions for Siam City Cement factories, targeting areas with significant potential for generating environmentally friendly electrical energy.
Aligned with environmental objectives, this initiative not only benefits local communities but also strengthens the sustainability strategies of both organizations. It mirrors B.Grimm Power’s unwavering commitment to the vision of Empowering the World Compassionately and supports the pursuit of secure and sustainable energy solutions under the primary strategy of Green Leap – Global and Green.
Furthermore, B.Grimm Power aims to expand its electricity production capacity to 10,000 megawatts by 2030, covering both ongoing and future projects, as part of its dedicated effort to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.

The joint initiative aims to establish rooftop and ground-mounted solar energy projects within the Siam City Cement factory area in Saraburi Province, boasting a total capacity of 102 megawatts. This ambitious endeavor is divided into two distinct phases over a 5-year period, with Phase 1 focusing on the development of a total capacity of 80 megawatts and Phase 2 including an additional 22 megawatts. This strategic growth has the capacity to notably decrease annual carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 60,000 tons.
