NTPC Releases Unaudited 9M FY24 Results: Standalone PAT Rises by 8.67%, Consolidated PAT Surges by 21.16%

NTPC Ltd., India’s largest power generator, released unaudited financial results for Q3 and Nine Months ending December 31, 2023.

In 9M FY24, the NTPC Group produced 315 Billion Units, up from 295 Billion Units in 9MFY23. NTPC’s standalone gross generation reached 268 Billion Units in 9MFY24, compared to 255 Billion Units in the previous corresponding period.

Standalone, NTPC’s total income for 9M FY24 stands at ₹1,21,486 crore, a decrease from ₹1,24,685 crore in the corresponding period. Profit After Tax (PAT) for 9MFY24 amounts to ₹12,523 crore, rising by 8.67% compared to the previous period.

On a consolidated basis, the group’s total income for 9M FY24 is ₹1,32,349 crore, down from ₹1,33,231 crore previously. Profit After Tax (PAT) for 9MFY24 totals ₹14,842 crore, marking a significant increase of 21.16% compared to the corresponding previous period.
