Sarten Ambalaj, a prominent Turkish packaging manufacturer, and Enova, a regional leader in integrated energy and multi-technical services, have joined forces in a commitment to environmental sustainability. They have recently inked a contract aimed at installing rooftop solar solutions across several Sarten operational facilities.
This collaboration marks another milestone in Enova’s expansion into Turkey, following its announcement last year as part of its broader regional operations strategy. Enova, a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim and Veolia, specializes in providing comprehensive energy and facilities management solutions, with a focus on achieving financial, operational, and environmental targets. Acting as both an operations and maintenance provider, Enova plays a crucial role in driving energy efficiency in various industrial sectors.
Renaud Capris, CEO of Enova, expressed enthusiasm about the agreement, stating, “By partnering with Sarten Ambalaj, Enova continues its expansion into Turkey with a core objective of reducing carbon emissions for our clients through holistic, performance-driven solutions. Sarten Ambalaj’s commitment to sustainability sets a commendable example in the Turkish market, aligning well with our shared vision for clean energy adoption.”
The contract entails the implementation of turnkey solar PV solutions across five key locations of Sarten’s operations in Manisa, Turkey. With a total installed capacity of 9.258 MWp and 16,987 PV modules, the project is expected to generate 13.01 GWh of green electricity annually. Enova will oversee the three-month implementation period, followed by two years of operations and management under the current agreement.

The PV solar project for Sarten’s operations across Turkey has commenced immediately, reflecting the urgency of their environmental objectives. Alongside its partnership with Sarten, Enova aims to expand its footprint in sectors such as transportation, healthcare, and industry, further contributing to the advancement of sustainable practices in the region.
