MAHAGENCO Invites Bids for EPC Services for BTG Package Installation at 2×660 MW Koradi Project, Nagpur

Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (MAHAGENCO) is seeking online bids from eligible Indian Bidders using a single-stage Two Envelope system. This system comprises Envelope 1 (Part-1): Techno-commercial Bid and Envelope 2 (Part-2): Price Bid. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing at the manufacturer’s site, supply, forwarding to site, civil, structural & architectural works, marine-cum-erection insurance, transportation, delivery, unloading, receipt at site, storage at site, erection, testing, and commissioning of the Main Plant (BTG Package).

 This package encompasses Steam Generator, Steam Turbine & Generator complete with all auxiliaries, accessories including FGD, SCR, and supply of mandatory spares, specified tools & tackles, and 3 years O&M Spares for the Koradi Thermal Power Station 2×660 MW Units – 11 & 12 project. The project is to be executed on an Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) Basis from eligible bidders.

The deadline to submit online bids is May 29, 2024, and to submit in physical form is May 31, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the same day as of physical submissions.

The bidding document fee is Rs. 2,36,000/, comprising Rs. 2,00,000/- (basic cost) and Rs. 36,000/- (GST@18%).

The bidder is required to provide an interest-free Bid Security, also known as an unconditional Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), totalling Rs. 81,00,00,000, along with the bid, as outlined in the bid specification.

The bidder must demonstrate an annual turnover of at least Rs. 2431 Crore per annum for the preceding three consecutive years. Additionally, the bidder must possess a positive net worth as of the last day of the preceding financial year. The Bidder/Associate/Collaborator Partner in charge of Engineering must possess experience in detailed engineering, utilizing their in-house engineering setup, for at least one 500 MW or larger capacity coal-fired supercritical thermal power project(s) currently in commercial operation as of the date of opening the Techno-commercial bids.
