J6 Energia Renovavel, a leading Brazilian renewable energy company, has recently inaugurated four distributed generation (DG) solar power plants in Trindade municipality, located in the state of Goias.
Collectively named LIMIRIM, these solar systems boast a combined capacity of 5 MW, capable of generating clean electricity to fulfill the energy needs of approximately 500 households, as confirmed by local government officials.
In addition to the solar power plants, J6 Energia Renovavel has outlined plans for further investments in the municipality. Notably, the company intends to establish a battery production factory, contributing to the region’s renewable energy infrastructure.
Fernanda Forbeck de Castro Sawaia, President of J6 Energia Renovavel, highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing renewable energy initiatives in Brazil. She noted that J6 has already invested approximately BRL 7.7 billion (USD 1.5bn/EUR 1.4bn) in renewable energy projects across the country, including the development of solar complexes in five different states.
