Waaree Energies Wins 362.5 MWp Solar Module Supply Order

Waaree Energies has secured an order for the supply of solar modules with a total capacity of 362.5 MWp from Khaba Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Engie India. The order, which was initially announced on February 19, 2025, is set to commence delivery in the financial year 2025-26. Waaree has informed the stock exchange about this development under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Khaba Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd operates in the renewable power sector, focusing on owning, developing, and managing renewable energy projects in India. The contract is a one-time supply agreement for solar PV modules, and no related party transactions are involved. The promoter group of Waaree does not have any financial or operational interest in the awarding entity.

The contract terms specify that the modules will be supplied within the scheduled timeframe, contributing to the expansion of solar energy capacity in the country. The agreement aligns with Indiaโ€™s renewable energy goals and further strengthens Waareeโ€™s position in the solar module supply market.
