Iberdrola Australia Sets Benchmark with Golden Row at 377 MW Broadsound Solar Farm

The Golden Row, consisting of 87 solar panels, serves as a benchmark for quality and compliance. It plays a vital role in validating the project’s design, guiding the rest of the installation process, and ensuring adherence to technical standards.

Once fully operational, the Broadsound Solar Farm will feature approximately 610,000 solar panels and generate enough renewable electricity to power more than 140,000 Australian homes. The project also includes the development of a 180 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), further supporting grid reliability and clean energy integration.

This development highlights Iberdrola’s ongoing commitment to advancing large-scale renewable infrastructure in Australia, contributing to the country’s clean energy goals.
