Nama Power and Water Procurement Company (PWP), the sole procurer of electricity and water capacity in Oman, has announced a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking qualified consultancy firms to provide technical advisory services for the development of solar projects.

The tender, numbered PWP/2025/33, invites proposals from experienced consultants to support Oman’s renewable energy expansion. The tender purchase period is open from 25–30 August 2025, with a submission deadline of 15 September 2025 at 12:00 PM (Oman Time).

The tender fee is set at 100 OMR, though it is waived for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) holding a valid Riyada card. Tender documents can be obtained electronically through the PWP website, with payments also facilitated online.

As per the guidelines, bids must include a Tender Bond or bank-certified cheque of at least 1% of the tender value, valid for 120 days from the submission deadline.

This latest initiative underscores PWP’s mandate under Royal Decree 78/2004 to drive capacity procurement and sector liberalization in line with Oman’s clean energy goals.
