Alpex Solar Limited, a leading manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and cells, has secured a major commercial order valued at ₹215.20 crores. The order involves supplying solar modules to a prominent industry player, and it is classified as a domestic order from a domestic entity. The total consideration for the project is ₹215.20 crores, excluding GST, and the company is expected to complete the execution within six months.
The agreement was reached under standard commercial terms, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory norms. Alpex Solar clarified that neither its promoter group nor group companies has any interest in the entity awarding the contract. The transaction is not a related party deal and has been conducted at arm’s length, highlighting the independence and fairness of the agreement.
This new order underlines Alpex Solar’s expanding presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The company operates multiple specialized facilities, including solar PV module and cell manufacturing units located in Kasna and Kosi Kotwan, Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the company has an aluminum frame manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. These facilities support Alpex Solar’s diversified capabilities, which extend beyond module production to solar EPC projects and solar pump manufacturing.
The official intimation was signed by Sakshi Tomar, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Alpex Solar Limited. Industry analysts expect that this substantial order will strengthen the company’s operational performance and consolidate its position as a key supplier in the Indian solar energy market. The deal is also a reflection of the growing demand for renewable energy solutions in India, as domestic industries increasingly invest in solar power to meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals. This development marks a significant milestone in Alpex Solar’s growth journey, reinforcing its role in supporting India’s renewable energy expansion.
