Gadgetronix has announced a strategic initiative to strengthen the commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy sector in Kenya through an upcoming technical tour in collaboration with ATESS.

The ATESS & Gadgetronix Kenya Technical Tour aims to deepen engagement with industry stakeholders while addressing key technical and operational challenges faced in the East African renewable energy market. The initiative underscores Gadgetronixโ€™s evolving role as a local partner offering not only distribution services but also technical expertise, localized support, and long-term project collaboration.

As part of the programme, senior representatives from ATESS, including its East Africa Sales Head and Global Product Manager, will participate in a series of consultations and technical sessions with project developers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, and technical teams. The discussions are expected to focus on mid- to large-scale C&I renewable energy projects.

The tour is designed to facilitate direct dialogue with Kenyan EPC companies to better understand challenges in system design, commissioning, and after-sales support. Insights gathered during these sessions will help tailor solutions to enhance the reliability and efficiency of renewable energy deployments across the region.

Key topics to be addressed during the sessions include ATESSโ€™s transformer-based low-frequency architecture, which supports inductive loads such as motors and pumps while improving grid stability. Participants will also explore advanced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions, including integrated battery systems and containerised MW-scale applications for industrial and utility use.

In addition, discussions will cover commercial transparency, competitive pricing structures, and a locally managed warranty framework provided by Gadgetronix to ensure faster service response and reduced downtime. The sessions will also highlight lifecycle engineering support, spanning pre-sales system design to long-term operations and maintenance.

The companies have invited industry stakeholders to schedule consultations with their teams as part of the tour, aimed at enabling knowledge exchange and aligning global technological capabilities with local market requirements.
